BOARD OF DIRECTORS

İsfendiyar Zülfikari was born in Istanbul in 1976 and graduated from the Department of International Relations at Boston College in 1999. In 2005, he completed his Masters degree at the Department of Capital Markets at Bahçeşehir University.

İsfendiyar Zülfikari represents the third generation of the Zülfikari family in the company, which was established in 1942; since 2001 he has been the Chairman of the Board of Zülfikarlar Holding.

Cengiz Solakoğlu was born in Erzurum in 1943; he graduated from the Istanbul Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences in 1964. He started his professional career in 1967 at Beko Ticaret A.Ş. under the auspices of Koç Holding as a sales representative. In 1977, he became the General Manager of Beko Ticaret. He performed this role until the year 1983 when he was promoted as the General Manager of Atılım A.Ş. In 1991, he was promoted as the Vice President of the Consumer Group at Koç Holding and then the President of the Consumer Group at Koç Holding in 1994. In addition to his existing position, he was a Member of the Steering Board at Koç Holding between 1996-1998. Starting from 2002, he worked as the President of the Consumer Durables Group at Koç Holding until his retirement in 2004.

Cengiz Solakoğlu, who is one of the founders of the Foundation for the Educational Volunteers of Turkey, TEGV, has been a Board Member at TEGV uninterruptedly since its onset and was the Chairman of the Board of the foundation between 2002-2004. In 2004, he was chosen as the Civil Society Leader of the Year by the magazine, Ekonomist. Between 2007 and 2011, he again acted as the Chairman of the Board of TEGV. Having been re-elected as its Chairman for the 2015-2019 period, he is still serving in this position.

Solakoğlu currently serves as a Board Member in numerous companies and is an amateur photographer.
